The scariest thing, at times, is the realization we do always have a choice. The path may be dark, and filled with unknowns, but you have to take a chance to see just how much your spirit has grown.
Brain spinning with all that I wanted life to be.
Gave my all, never enough to be just me.
Left to my own, twisted, coping devises.
Riding the razors edge, one step from final crisis.
Unconditional is an easy thing to say.....most will never live it day after day. Pretty words to cast illusions of devotion, by those that are incapable of that depth of emotion.
All that you are...no not what you show the world...but ALL that you are, so mesmerizing . You put on a good front, life of illusionary perfection for all to see......except for the times you feel safe to let the you inside be seen. Those moments are not near enough...causing perpetual hunger for more that you didn’t even know existed.....yet frozen in time. Fight back tears in the shower, start a new day...maybe this one will end different than the past...yet you know it’s your usual bluff. Remain you will, until you don’t...find the instant that it’s time to go. Break the shackles that have held you back and for the first time, believe you’re going where you can be known.
The pain of patience can be the best teacher of what really matters. and what is just holding us back....
You won’t have to say a thing, all of those emotions you can’t put into words. They will be able to see it when your eyes meet and you will know for the first time you have been heard.
Every question weighing on your mind, the doubts about what could be...I want to live my life each day so those answers you can clearly see.
