Walking along the broken road of life.
Convergence of everything I am not.
Never intended to give up this fight,
But in eternities undertow I became caught.
Follow me into the hollow.
Yesterdays faded and no promise for tomorrow
Paying respects to who I used to be.
Nothing left in which to believe.
Sun rises on another analogous day.
Putting one foot forward, heading home.
Heart aching from memories of another time and place.
Determination emboldened by the best thing I have ever known.
