Time is a funny thing.
We always want more of it,
Yet never pay attention to where it goes.
Until something happens,
Then it’s more, we want our prays to bring.
The aftermath brings a renewed vow.
Stop taking each moment as if it will last.
Share that which we keep hidden in our hearts.
Then the comfortable complacency returns,
And we pronounce, the time isn’t right now.
Tomorrow will be when change begins.
We always have that, right?
Have just a little more to ponder.
Afraid to fail we simply justify inaction.
What if though, today is the end.
